April 15, 2015 (St. Louis) – The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Greater St. Louis Chapter will host its April 15 Speaker Series with keynote speaker Laura Wasson, Tech Electronics co-owner and director of business development for the healthcare division. She will present, “A Family First Business: Tech Electronics,” from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Country Club located at 9555 South Geyer Road, St. Louis, MO, 63127.
Wasson will share her family’s success story—offering lessons she learned while expanding a business that has endured for three generations. Founded by Wasson’s father in 1963, Tech Electronics has grown to include five additional Midwestern locations and more than 250 employees.
Laura Wasson, a St. Louis native, is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is a passionate community service leader, involved with charities such as Boys Hope Girls Hope, WINGS, MS 150 and the Family Resource Center. She also mentors young adults to help them find their ideal career paths.
The cost to attend for NAWBO members is $45.00, and for non-members the cost is $65.00. Networking is from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m., Ms. Wasson’s presentation is from 5:15 - 6:00 p.m., and networking is from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
