Join Macy's For Holiday Window Unveilings & Family Fun Days!

Join Macy's for the debut of their holiday window displays, tree lightings and exciting events from the entire family!

Macy's City Creek - Salt Lake City, UT

Thursday, November 20th
Impulse Department, Level 2 at 4pm: It wouldn't be the most wonderful time of the year without the return of our spectacular window displays, made entirely of candy! And this season they're better and more magical than ever, so join us for the unveiling with the help of the cast from Peter and the Starcatcher. Head to Level 2 at 5pm for cookies, hot cocoa and a meet and greet with the cast. Then, follow the infamous Black Stache outside at 6pm for a special performance by the cast of Peter and the Starcatcher and the grand reveal at 21 South Main Street. Plus, enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show! 
Saturday, November 22nd
Throughout the store at noon: Join us as we ring in the festive season with an afternoon of fun for all ages, including a visit from our fuzzy friend at Utah's Hogle Zoo! There'll be ornament decorating with the Utah Arts Festival, face painting, balloon art and much more, so come by and don't miss a moment! 

Macy's Union Square - San Francisco, CA

Friday, November 21st at 5pm: Meet our host, Freska of Q102, as she gets things started with a performance by the De Marillac Academy Choir and a visit from our special guest, Grumpy Cat, who's getting ready for her acting debut in the Lifetime Original Movie Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. After the grand reveal of our windows, which were voted one of the "10 Best Places to Press Your Nose" by USE Today, head inside and meet with our friends from the SF SPCA center on Level 1. Macy's Downtown Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA

Friday, November 21st at Smithfield Street Stage at 6pm: Check our our hosts, YouTube Sensations Rose and Rosie, as they get things started with performances by Fire and Flow, country artist, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Macy's iHeart Radio contest winners Before You Exit! Then, join our friends from Make-A-Wish Foundation, Pittsburgh defensive end Cam Heyward, our very special guest and Macy's holiday ambassador SpongeBob SquarePants, and the man of the hour, Santa Claus, for the grand reveal! After the show, head inside for complimentary hot chocolate on the Arcade Level and meet our celebrity lineup. 

Macy's Center City - Philadelphia, PA

Saturday, November 22nd at noon: Enjoy a performance by the University of the Arts "DoBop" Vocal Ensemble, then, get ready to be wowed as our host, TV personality, Julissa Bermudez, counts down to the grand reveal alongside Santa Claus himself. Afterwards, head inside for an afternoon of excitement, surprises and holiday fun - there's something for everyone! 

Macy's Metro Center - Washington, DC

Saturday, November 22nd
Main Stage, G Street beginning at 2pm: Get ready to be wowed as our co-hosts, American Ballet Theatre's, Misty Copeland and Fox 5 news anchor, Allison Seymour, count down to the grand reveal with the Ballou High School Marching Band and Santa Claus himself. Stick around the Main Stage for performances by Bystorm/RCA recording artist Mali Music and The Voice contestant Ddendyl, The Washington Performing Arts Society's Children of the Gospel Choir and excerpts from The Nutcracker by The Washington Ballet. Afterwards, head inside for an afternoon of excitement and holiday joy - there's something for everyone!  

Macy's Downtown Boston - Boston, MA

Friday, November 28th at noon: It wouldn't be the most wonderful time of the year without our spectacular window displays and Christmas tree! And this season they're better and more magical than ever, so join us for the unveiling and light up ceremony, then stick around for a lineup of star-studded performances and festive fun! 
Kids' Department, 5th Floor, 12pm: Pop into the Kids' Department for activities perfect for the whole family! Local children's book author Stuart J. Murphy will read from Missing Mittens, a part of his award-winning MathStart series, and afterwards he'll sign copies of the book. 
2pm: Bring your camera for a pic with Santa and his elves! There'll be special surprises for kids of all ages, so put on your party hat and join the celebration!
Summer Street at 5pm: Check out the stage as we get things started with performances by Macy's iHeart Radio contest winners Before You Exit, America's Got Talent Season 9 Finalists and Boston University alums Sons of Serendip, and The Boston Children's Choir. Then, join The Honorable Mayor Marty Walsh, basketball start Brandon Bass and the man of the hour, Santa Claus, for the grand reveal. After the show and Tree Lighting, head inside to meet our celebrity lineup and discover more holiday cheer!

Macy's Herald Square - NYC, NY

Thursday, November 20th at Broadway Plaza: Join Macy's for all-day excitement leading up to one of our favorite seasonal pastimes; the big reveal of this year's Holiday Window display with a special appearance by legendary actor James Earl Jones. With Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, our world famous Broadway windows, Santaland and so much more, Macy's is truly home for the holidays. 
8:15am - 9:45pm: The excitement kicks off as Turner Classic Movies presents the holiday favorite Miracle on 34th Street, with continuous showings all day long. So grab the family and catch this classic with a delicious hot beverage courtesy of Keurig and their new 2.0 brewing system. 
5pm: Watch Kris Kringle, his special helpers and our guest of honor James Earl Jones, star of Broadway's You Can't Take It With You, as they count down to the main moment. They'll draw the curtain on our new windows depicting an extraordinary boy's epic journey through the universe! Afterward, set your gaze on the roof of Macy's Herald Square for our spectacular pyrotechnic finale settle in as TCM host Robert Osborne and Amy Kule, Executive Producer of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, introduce the 6:15pm screening of Miracle on 34th Street. And while you're here, head inside for details on how you can take home take home a voucher redeemable for a pair of tickets to You Can't Take it With You.
