British Actress NICHOLA FYNN Emerges in Season Two of Amazon’s Celebrated Comedy Series ‘TRANSPARENT’

LOS ANGELES (December 10, 2015) – After earning big laughs on the hit comedy series Hot in Cleveland earlier this year, British actress NICHOLA FYNN is now helping to kick-off the highly-anticipated Season Two of Amazon’s Golden Globe Award-winning comedy series, TRANSPARENT, premiering online December 11, 2015.

From Creator/Producer Jill Soloway, TRANSPARENT revolves around a Los Angeles family and their lives following the discovery that the person they knew as their father Mort (Jeffrey Tambor) is transgender. Fynn appears in the season opener episode with Gaby Hoffmann and Amy Landecker, who star as siblings in the series alongside Jay Duplass.

Fynn explains, “I am thrilled to be part of a show that is so groundbreaking and inspiring. It was simply breathtaking to be on set among such talent!”

Fynn also stars alongside host Annamarie Tendler in an episode of helpful series, THE OTHER SIDE, currently airing on Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls website (http://amysmartgirls.com/highlighting-and-shading).

Fynn recently surfaced as ‘one-to-watch’ in Hollywood when she Guest Starred on TV Land’s popular comedy series, Hot In Cleveland. Fans will recall the “Bossy Cups” episode where ‘Olivia’ (Fynn) was the labeled the ‘New Joy’ by legendary comedy veterans Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick.

Fynn also recently emerged on the big screen starring in director Kate Rees Davies’ fast-paced sci-fi thriller, Altered Perception. The story follows four couples as they embark on a clinical trial of a new medication designed to help users move past traumatic experiences by altering their perception. Written by Travis Romero, the film also stars Jon Huertas (Castle), Jennifer Blanc-Biehn (Dark Angel), Hallie Jordan, Jade Tailor, Emrhys Cooper and Matthew Ziff.

Fynn previously teamed up with writer/director Kate Rees Davies, under the Audacious Entertainment banner, as the producer and star of the dramatic short film, Broken. This thought-provoking story centers around the treacherous rape of a young and innocent girl living abroad. The film quickly earned high praise on the festival circuit, including a screening at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.

Originally from Billericay Essex, Fynn has worked hard to build a solid resume and reputation on both sides of the pond. She has appeared in several global blockbusters, including the Bond installment Skyfall and the Disney mega-hit Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and numerous independent projects including Jennifer Blanc-Biehn’s directorial film debut, The Night Visitor. Fynn first hones her talents by studying at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, where she graduated with a degree in Performing Arts.
