STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (July 29, 2014) — Big Agnes, a premier tent, sleeping bag and pad manufacturer, has partnered with Burton Snowboards to launch an exclusive line of camping products. The new Burton x Big Agnes Safari Collection includes technical tents, sleeping bags, comforters, camp chairs and more with distinctive Burton styling, perfect for everything from music festivals to camping with friends.
The Safari Collection kicks off with the After Party, a hybrid design that merges the comfort and privacy of an enclosed tent with the freedom and flexibility of a sun shelter. The Night Cap is a more traditional two-person tent, but with the fly removed the top two-thirds of the tent is completely mesh, making it perfect for star-gazing, whether at a music stage or in the sky. The Dirt Bag sleeping bag pairs perfectly with the Snoozer sleeping pad for a comfortable night's sleep. The Shakedown Comforter is ideal for sharing when the sun goes down and the music is just getting started. Last but not least, the Safari Collection Camp Chair is lightweight, comfortable and packs down perfectly for any outdoor occasion.
“It’s awesome to see action sports brands like Burton getting into the outdoor space, injecting some fun and youth into a category that could use it,” says Big Agnes president and co-founder Bill Gamber. “We’re really excited to introduce our brand to a whole new audience through this collaboration.”
The Burton x Big Agnes Safari Collection debuts at the Outdoor Retailer trade show, August 6-10, in Salt Lake City. Products will be available at retail in February 2015.
