Trained 45 Students In PC Troubleshooting Under Their CSR Activity

MVJCE is one of the pioneer institutions in Bangalore to foster Corporate Social responsibilty. A desire to ethically do right things and be a good corporate citizen, henceforth genuinely contribute to the development of the society is the goal of the corporate social responsibility programme in MVJCE.

 The management of MVJCE has always encouraged corporate social responsibility and various activities were conducted in the last three years in connection with CSR. In the year 2014 the department of CSE, ISE & MCA conducted a 2 days free workshop for the Government polytechnic students in “PC Assembly, trouble shooting and OS installation”on 6/1/14 and 7/1/14.

 Around 45 students attended the workshop. On day one i.e on 6/Jan/2014, Principal of MVJCE Dr. Badarinarayan inaugurated the workshop and in his brief keynote he asked the students to make use of the opportunity given to them by MVJCE. After the inauguration there was a session on PC assembling and troubleshooting. The students had practical sessions with hands on experience on PC assembling and trouble shooting. MVJCE used to organize various CSR activities time to time for the development of students

 On day two i.e 7/jan/2014 there was a session on OS installation with hands on experience. An assesment test was conducted, based on their performance the certificates were given to the participants.

 Finally the workshop was concluded with a validictory function.The dignatories present for the function were Dr.Shukla ,HOD Department of Chemistry, Prof.S.C.Gupta HOD of Aeronautical Engineering , Prof.Gayathri  HOD  Department  of Information Science & Engineering and Prof. Latha HOD department of MCA .
