PRANA CREATES ALL-ROUND STYLES THAT GO ALL AROUND THE WORLD

Clothing for people who live life fully, play long, and travel well

CARLSBAD, CA (March 31, 2015) — To fully experience the Spring 2015 collection, brand ambassadors Chadd Konig and Amy Ippoliti headed to Nicaragua to put the latest prAna apparel and accessories to the travel test.

Adventures in Nicaragua ranged from sunrise asanas, hidden beach exploration, ancient volcano hiking, and plenty of time riding the waves—prAna swimwear, tops and bottoms met each activity with sustainable style and performance. prAna has created pieces that pack well, are durable, and can do double duty to help lighten the load on luggage, as well as on the environment.

“I have been to Nicaragua to surf and explore about ten times, and on this trip, I lived in the Catalyst Board Short,” said prAna ambassador and waterman Chadd Konig. “I literally, surfed, hiked, cliff jumped, stand up paddled, and body surfed in them - all in total comfort.”

When Konig wasn’t in his Catalyst Board Shorts, he turned to the Zeven Shirt and Brion Pant. Wrinkle resistance is key in packable gear; that’s why prAna designed the Brion Pant to look good even straight out of the bottom of your bag. With its water resistant, quick-dry fabric, these adventurous slacks are ready to go, day after day. Konig’s Zeven Shirt is also wrinkle resistant, UPF rated to protect against the harmful rays and Fair Trade Certified.

“On this trip, my go-to prAna pieces were the Taala swim top and the Ribbon Tee,” said prAna ambassador and yogini Amy Ippoliti. “Both pieces were comfortable, lightweight,  durable and easy to pack – plus they looked great .”

Rounding out Ippoliti's pack was the Cali Dress, giving her another easy option for almost any occasion. Its lovely prints, scoop neck and empire waist give it around-town style, while Veeda performance fabric - with stretch and moisture managing properties - make it ready for adventure.

“Nicaragua was an exquisite place to test the new collection of prAna product and bond with fellow prAna ambassadors,” said Ippoliti. “The group of people that were on the trip were wonderful because they were all committed to what they love doing in life whether it be surfing, hiking or yoga.”
