Resolutions Be Damned! Slater's 50/50 Ushers in 2014 with 'Excesstasy'

(Southern California) Hello, January. So, we meet again. The parties are over and now it's back to the grind with the added bonus of peer pressure to "juice" and "cleanse." California based burger brand Slater's 50/50, beloved for their signature "50/50" patty made of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef, has decided enough is enough with the self-deprivation, instead opting to introduce the concept of  'Excesstasy' to pop culture's post-holiday vernacular with two special additions  available through the month of January: The Excesstasy Burger and the Excesstasy Ice Cream Sandwich.

Excesstasy, n. Definition: The overwhelming excitement felt when indulging in the Slater's 50/50 experience. 

The ultimate burger experience, The Excesstasy Burger features a 100% all natural beef patty on a bed of arugula and garlic tomato confit, plus a 100% ground BACON burger soaked in bone marrow butter separated by a white cheddar and bacon grilled cheese sandwich. Slater's has topped this beast with Southern Comfort drunken onions, a sunny side up duck egg, and a house made 1,000 Island aioli all on a brioche bun. Yep, you read that right. Two patties and a grilled cheese. 

Double your Excesstasy with the Excesstasy Ice Cream Sandwich made with a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie below two scoops of vanilla ice cream, below a giant homemade peanut butter cup, below two scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, below a fresh baked peanut butter sugar cookie. BOOM!

So, how's that five day juice cleanse tasting now?

Both The Excesstasy Burger and the Excesstasy Ice Cream Sandwich are available at all Slater's 50/50 locations through the end of January.
