Lakewood Church’s Dodie Osteen and Other Faith Leaders Gather to Empower the 21st Century Church

Now Leaders Wealth Summit Honors the Legacy of Women

Pastors and Pastors’ Wives

HOUSTON, Texas – On September 26, nearly a dozen pastors and church leaders will gather to equip and empower the 21st century church in a series of panels and workshops as part of the NOW Leaders Wealth Summit. Dodie Osteen, the matriarch of Lakewood Church, will headline as one of the event’s speakers and pray over church leaders in attendance seeking direction and guidance in taking their ministries to the next level.

Notable pastors scheduled to speak at the event include Pastor Johnny McGowan, Pastor Debra Morton and Pastor April O. Simmons. Grammy award winning gospel singer Da’dra Greathouse will also perform her new release, “Unrestrained Praise.”

The summit is especially designed for senior pastors, co-pastors, evangelists, pastors’ wives and other executive church leaders. Panels, workshops and Q&As will focus heavily on 2 Chronicles 20:17 that calls Christians to “Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”

The NOW Leaders Wealth Summit will also honor the legacy of some of the world’s most powerful and impactful women pastors and dedicated pastors’ wives during the Women of NOW Hall of Fame Award Luncheon. Special honoree Dodie Osteen is among the women that will be recognized. The awards will be presented by Donna McGowan, founder and president of Women of NOW.

“The role of women in the church continues to evolve, and God is using women in powerful and miraculous ways,” said McGowan. “We are excited to recognize these incredible women of faith who are changing lives and having a major impact on their congregations and the world.”

The NOW Leaders Wealth Summit will take place at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston at 10:30 a.m. General admission tickets are available for $55 and include entry to the luncheon, awards ceremony and workshops.

“This event will be instrumental in preparing and equipping senior pastors and other church leaders to take their churches to the next level,” said McGowan. “All leaders in ministry are invited to participate in this one of a kind event.”
