Aspen/Snowmass, Colo., March 16, 2014 –The first weekend of Spring Jam was packed with a Bud Light Hi-Fi concert featuring Cash'd Out in Aspen Mountain Gondola Plaza followed by KickAspen Big Air and Fallen Friends.
Kick Aspen Big Air ResultsIn the 15th annual KickAspen Big Air, the best regional ski and snowboard athletes competed under the lights at the base of Aspen Mountain on Saturday evening. Forty competitors battled it out under the lights while spectators enjoyed DJ Naka G and a Bud Light Beer Garden.
"I couldn't be happier to take home the win at one of my favorite hometown big air events," says Charlie Lasser, member of the Aspen/Snowmass ski team and 2014 KickAspen Big Air ski champion.

2nd place – Nate Berkel took second and won $1,000.
3rd place – Billy Waller took third winning $500.

Fallen Friends ResultsLocals came out to compete in the 6th annual Fallen Friends event at Aspen Highlands on Sunday, March 16 to honor fellow skiers and riders that have been lost in recent years. Teams competed in a course of jumps, bumps and park features on Scarlett’s Run at Aspen Highlands, while dressing in themed costumes to raise money for the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club’s scholarship foundation. Team Without a Paddle took home the win under sunny skies for the fourth consecutive year.

Bud Light Spring Jam is in full swing in Aspen/Snowmass and the rest of the spring continues to offers a host of events, most of which are free and open to the public to watch. On-mountain competitions, concerts and parties will keep guests entertained nearly every week for the rest of the season. Week two of Spring Jam brings a Bud Light Hi-Fi Core party featuring Beats Antique, an inaugural Banked Slalom event at Snowmass and the Battle in the Bowls at Highlands.
