Maven Introduces Elite, Customizable Spotting Scope

LANDER, Wyoming (April 26, 2016) — Maven Outdoor Equipment Company, the Wyoming-based customizable gear brand, is pleased to announce the latest addition to its optics lineup, the S.1 spotting scope. The brand’s first scope, will be available in both straight (S.1S) and angled (S.1A) versions, and are equipped with a powerful 25-50x magnification adjustment. Additionally, an 80mm fluorite objective lens eliminates chromatic aberration and renders this scope superior in all viewing conditions.

“We built Maven from day one to stand apart from the rest of the optics world by offering consumers best-in-class gear at unbeatable direct-to-consumer prices,” states co-founder and partner, Brendon Weaver. “The S.1 was designed using the best technology available and we are confident this is one of the best scopes on the market, at a very competitive price”

The S.1 comes with a full feature set including a BAK-4 Schmidt-Pechan prism, die-electric mirror coating, magnesium/polymer frame material and an internal nitrogen gas-purged body. The fluorite glass lens is oilphobic-treated to repel water, oil and fingerprints.

The large objective lens provides bright, crisp images with no aberration or distortion, even at maximum magnification. The edge-to-edge clarity means a fully usable field of view, and high contrast images transmit every amazing detail. Customers can customize the S.1A and S.1S to their specific liking with choices of up to seven different body armor wraps including the KUIU® Vias and Verde camos, Kryptek® Highlander and Typhon and Kings Camo®. MSRP starts at $2,100.00.
