Liquid Art House Presents Pop-up With Contemporary Urban Artists Jaybo Monk And Augustine Kofie

BOSTON— Liquid Art House (LAH), the freshly opened gallery-meets-restaurant hybrid in Boston, welcomes renowned urban artist Jaybo Monk (Berlin) along with works from Augustine Kofie (Los Angeles) in an exclusive Pop-up dubbed "Sole Delay" on Thursday, June 12, 2014. The week-long show is curated by street art documentarian Todd Mazer.

Liquid Art House has invited the artists, both in town for an appearance at the MFA, to celebrate its inaugural show "Street Art—Outside In", on display now through the end of the month featuring original works by some of the world's leading street artists and muralists.

Street art has been gaining recognition from the art world as a legitimate form of art, thriving in cities like Miami, L.A., New York City, Cairo, Beirut and Berlin. "Sole Delay is the transformation of the dust, rhythm and experiences of our daily lives into the palettes and canvases of our creative endeavors," said LAH guest curator Todd Mazer. "Liquid Art House is blurring the lines by highlighting these outdoor, modern-day storytellers, whose works continue to creep inside museums and galleries around the globe," added Ruta Laukien, LAH Founder.

"Sole Delay" - An Exclusive Pop-up curated by Todd Mazer is on display at Liquid Art House at The Arlington in Boston's Back Bay.
