The "ELSA AND YOU Career Elevation Chats" Series Returns with a "Create Your Career" Discussion Panel
ELSA AND ME in collaboration with ProfessionGal, RePopRoom and Ladypreneur League will host a "Create Your Career" Discussion Panel on Thursday, February 6, 2014, from 7:00-9:00PM at RePopRoom. The alternative career-focused evening of networking, cocktails and creativity will feature special guests ProfessionGal's Megan Broussard, who will moderate, along with panelists Megan Mallow of RePopRoom, Porsha Thomas of Ladypreneur League, Anna Murphy of annacroswell, Emily Cook Harris of Empowered by Em and Suzanna Grobman of POTTYMINTS. The millennial entrepreneurs will discuss the ins and outs of business ownership in today's climate and offer advice to event-goers looking to make the leap into entrepreneurship.
Attendees can expect sparkling and light bites. For guests who arrive early, free swag bags with items from the panel will be on hand.

In October of 2013, she and her best friend, Suzanne Kennedy, branched off to start, RePopRoom, a design house for creatives which includes, showroom space, event space, and a wide range of services. Megan has a true passion for collaboration and innovation and considers neither of the two to be mutually exclusive.
ABOUT PORSHA THOMAS
Porsha Thomas is her name and working and wandering is her game. She’s a lot like the tumbleweeds that roll through her hometown – blowing wherever the wind goes, typically with Macbook in hand. She’s a journalism-lover, design aficionada and a social media-savvy PR maven. If you catch her in Houston, TX she’s most likely writing and spreading the good word for H-town marketing agency Zulu Creative. NYC? She’s providing marketing, public relations and social media support for socially conscious lifestyle brands like Knotty Gal and ELSA AND ME. Back at home in Atlanta, you’ll find her running her boutique brand styling and public relations agency, Girl Wander, LLC or mixing, collabbing and creating with other women entrepreneurs under her newly-launched organization, Ladypreneur League.
ABOUT ANNA MURPHY
Anna Murphy moved to New York after college (5.5 years ago!) because in NYC, the music never stops. She also briefly thought she wanted to be a beauty publicist, but that idea lasted about as long as the dark lip-liner phase of yore. Anna spends her days running jewelry company/blog annacroswell and working in advertising for music streaming service Grooveshark. She enjoys long runs on the Hudson River to burn off her favorite vegan cookies from the Union Square Greenmarket, and dreams of someday owning a silver lab once she graduates from her East Village studio.
ABOUT EMILY COOK HARRIS
Emily Cook Harris is the founder and head trainer of EMpowered, a NYC based personal training business with a focus on bringing out the best in others and paying it forward. The EMpowered community has donated thousands of dollars to girls’ education and continues to donate 10% of every training session to the nonprofit She’s the First.
Emily has a BS in Kinesiology and holds numerous certifications in the field, with additional experience in corporate wellness and group fitness. She is also passionate about the arts, having performed for The Walt Disney Company, toured nationally with a musical, and seen in commercials and magazines for both fitness & dance. She was recently named “New York City’s Hottest Trainer.”
ABOUT SUZANNA GROBMAN
Born and bred in New York City, Suzanna Grobman, 23, stands 5’2” on a good day, but chooses her height by her heel. This former costume designer turned religion major at Boston University took a weekend getaway with her boyfriend (now husband) and had an epiphany. Noticing his frequent disappearances, she recognized, for the first time, the inherent difficulties that come with sharing a bathroom…Thus, the birth of POTTYMINTSTM “the after flush”— coming Spring 2014.
When not testing fragrances, Suzanna loves playing soccer with the guys, and currently can be found recovering from a broken nose after taking a soccer ball to the face.
