About the Instructor - Zach Even
Zach Even, who earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Chadron State College with an emphasis in 2D and 3D art, and graphic design, currently teaches art at Lander Valley High School. Zach worked as a graphic designer for the outdoor retailer Cabela’s. During his time with the company, one of Zach pieces of artwork earned him the coveted cover of the annual fly fishing catalog. Additionally, his rendition of a pronghorn buck was selected by Nebraska’s Game and Fish Commission for use on the Nebraska Habitat Stamp.
Art has always been a part of Zach’s life and his love of nature developed growing up Wyoming. Whether he was hiking, climbing, fishing or hunting, he always tucked sketchpads in his pack to illustrate what he saw. Zach’s lifestyle and artwork reflect his love for the outdoors; the close relationship with his subject matter allows him to showcase the outdoor world in an authentic way using unique perspectives not ordinarily seen.
