ATLANTA, GA, August 28, 2014- Once a month, in Atlanta's Piedmont Park, Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols present us with incredible performances by R&B's finest artists. This month, the two entertainment executives surprised us with their first-ever Inspirational Sunday Brunch with performances by Canton Jones and emerging talent from ASCAP, including Alycia Levels, Casey J, Patrick Dopson and Darius Paulk. Preise 102.5's Darlene McCoy hosted the event with sounds by the house-band, Quinn and Jukebox.
The event kicked-off with performances from ASCAP's top-emerging talent. First, Casey J took the stage and performed her original song, titled "Fill Me Up." ASCAP's Patrick Dopson followed with performances of Lamar Campbell's "More than Anything," Jonathan Butler's "Falling in Love with Jesus," and his original single, titled "Keep Me." Alycia Levels performed "Joy" from her album Pray Until Something Happens (P.U.S.H) and Darius Paulk followed with a performance of "Nobody Greater" from his EP Lyrics & Melodies.
Host, Darlene McCoy, surprised the crowd by joining Canton Jones in an impromptu performance of a reggae-remixed version of their song "More of You."
