Australian Actor RICHARD O’BRYAN Proves a Wickedly Powerful Wizard in Final Season of Nickelodeon's “EVERY WITCH WAY”

LOS ANGELES (July 22, 2015) – Fresh from the stages of London’s West End, Australian actor RICHARD O’BRYAN delivers a wickedly powerful performance in the final season of Nickelodeon’s popular series, EVERY WITCH WAY, currently airing on the network.

O’Bryan stepped into the American teen-focused telenovela at the beginning of the fourth and final season as Jake Novoa, a powerful Wizard and Father to Jax (Rahart Adams) and Jessie (Julia Antonelli). Known to be manipulative and evil, Jake will stop at nothing to make sure his son Jax rules the world. However, things went awry when Jax had other plans that included a romance with Emma, the ‘Chosen One’. The storyline will reach a pivotal point for Jake and Jax in the upcoming episode titled, “Stop Emma,” premiering on July 28th.

O’Bryan is thrilled at the opportunity to showcase his talents to American audiences, adding “I am honored to now be filming in the U.S., as it is known to be the next progression in an actor’s career. I have loved being the main protagonist in ‘Every Witch Way’ as it gives me a huge amount of scope to be creative and challenge myself. So far, my role has created quite a stir in the Nickelodeon fan world. But, they have no idea about the exclusive plot reveal on the 28th! It’s gonna be huge!”

Before making his way to Hollywood, O’Bryan starred in the leading role of ‘Johnny Castle’ in the revival theatrical production of “Dirty Dancing” on London’s West End. British audiences will also recognize him for his role in Masterpiece Theatre’s 3-part television trilogy, “Salting the Battle Fields,” starring Bill Nighy, Olivia Williams, Helen Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, O’Bryan has built a solid resume and reputation around the globe. His screen credits include recurring roles on the British TV shows “Doctors” and “Hollyoaks”; and several Australian projects including the TV show “All Saints” and the feature film “Garage Days.”

Richard O’Bryan is represented by Jonathan Arun Talent (London).
