Professional Athletes Team Up with Strikes For Kids During ‘Las Vegas All-Star Bowling’ Classic at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa

LAS VEGAS – South Point Hotel hosts Strikes For Kids’ “Las Vegas All-Star Bowling Classic,” Nevada’s first-ever celebrity bowling showdown, to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada on Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m. Throughout the event, professional athletes and participants will bowl to raise proceeds to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Strikes For Kids, a non-profit organization known for creating opportunities for fans to meet sports icons, has partnered with Sun West Sports, one of the largest sports agencies in the country. The partnership allows bowlers to bowl alongside professional football athletes such as San Diego Chargers’ Ryan Mathews and Thomas Keiser as well as Professional Bowling Association’s (PBA) leading bowler, Sean Rash.

Also in attendance will be Oakland Raiders’ James Jones; Denver Broncos’ Julius Thomas, Matt Prater and Duke Ihenacho; Detroit Lions’ Ziggy Ansah; Kansas City Chiefs’ Chris Owens; Washington Redskins’ Phillip Thomas; and Carolina Panthers’ Kenjon Barner.

Participating bowlers are encouraged to sign up in teams of six players per lane for a total donation of $250 or for $50 per bowler. Guests not interested in participating may also attend the event for $25 per person. The registration costs include three games of bowling, shoes, pizza, soft drinks, custom shirt and event bag. In addition to hanging out with their favorite professional athletes, participants have the opportunity to win exciting prizes during a silent auction.
