Fremont County, WY - The Fremont County Pioneer Museum was happy to work with the Museum of the American West on an exhibit in the Coutant House.
The Museum of the American West (MAW) is working on a series to exhibits that will document the life stories of pioneer families first to homestead in the Lander Valley and who have descendants still living in Lander.
The Museum of the American West will display photographs, historical records and heirlooms in the first exhibit in the series that focuses on the family of Ervin F. Cheney and A. Stuart Nalls and their descendants, the Freedman family. The exhibit will run from June 16 - July 5th from 10 am to 2 pm Monday through Saturday in the Coutant Houst on the MAW grounds.
