DAYTON & CINCINNATI— Faruki Ireland & Cox P.L.L. (www.ficlaw.com) announces a new managing partner, as it also searches for new office space in the Dayton region, and celebrates its five-year anniversary in downtown Cincinnati.
Jeffrey Ireland, one of the founding partners of Faruki Ireland & Cox, has been named the firm’s new managing partner. Ireland, who specializes in business litigation, has represented clients throughout the United States in federal and state courts. He has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer by his peers each year since the inception of the award, and has been named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the state. Ireland stated that he "is proud to have been a part of this firm from its inception, and looks forward to continuing its reputation for high quality results and impeccable client service." Among his many accolades, Ireland is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, an organization reserved for attorneys who are selected for their trial experience, and he is a former president of the Dayton Bar Association. Charles Faruki, also a founding partner, and managing partner for the past 25 years, is passing the torch to Ireland. Faruki commented that, "Jeff and I have worked together for many years, and it is a natural transition. He will do a great job." Faruki said that he looks forward to spending less time on firm management and to focus his attention on clients and trials. When Faruki and Ireland started the firm in 1989, it was nine attorneys. It has now grown to 28 attorneys with offices in two cities, a national reputation in class actions, a wide variety of commercial disputes, and privacy and data security.
Along with a new managing partner, FI&C has retained the Miller-Valentine Group to help evaluate options for new office space in the Dayton region. FI&C has outgrown its current space, and seeks to grow in an environment that will foster the firm's current and future needs, as well as its technological investments. The firm is proud to have been a part of the greater Dayton community for the past 25 years, and is committed to finding new space that will allow it to continue its involvement with the Dayton community.
Faruki Ireland & Cox is also celebrating the five-year anniversary of its Cincinnati office in the PNC Center at 5th and Main Streets. The Cincinnati office recently expanded its space and signed a new lease that will see the firm continue to call downtown Cincinnati home.
FI&C is proud of its continued growth in the Dayton and Cincinnati communities, and looks forward to continuing to provide our clients with outstanding legal services for many years to come.
