The Bull & Bush Brewery is celebrating it's 45th Anniversary and will feature a different band every Saturday in August. Saturday August 20th it's The Sadies.
The Sadies are a tour de force of alt-country, surf-rock, garage-rock and spaghetti western. Their live shows are legendary as the Canadian brothers Travis and Dallas Good effortlessly trade their genre-bending guitar licks.
The Sadies have been featured as a backing band for artists like Neko Case and John Doe. You won't see a better show this year. "The Sadies' insanely original sound, a cross between country, rockabilly and movie soundtrack music ... suggests what might've happened if Kurt Cobain played with Dick Dale", says Rockpile magazine.
Tickets are $19.71 and available online at the Bull & Bush Brewery.
Watch for a special tribute beer, Another Year Again, a Canadian-Style Maple Stout, that includes a free music download from The Sadies.
