PHOENIX – Davidson + Belluso (D+B) has been awarded the contract by the City of Phoenix to refine the Phoenix General Plan, a 180 page document serving as a vision for the future of Phoenix. Additionally D+B is tasked with designing an Executive Summary version to be distributed in its printed form throughout the Valley. A digital version of the General Plan will also be made available online in the process.

“We love working with the City of Phoenix, there is strong leadership in place and it is a privilege to be a part of the Planning department specifically in all they are doing to guarantee success in our future,” says Rob Davidson, owner at D+B.

With the leadership of the Phoenix City Council, the City of Phoenix initiated the PlanPHX project to collaborate with residents about the future of Phoenix. As a result of thousands of ideas from more than 150 meetings and from the project’s interactive website –, the PlanPHX Leadership Committee and Planning and Development Department staff developed a new vision and blueprint built around the promise of creating a Connected Oasis. This new promise will serve as the foundation for Phoenix’s future and be the guiding principal in the update of the Phoenix General Plan.
