Canberra Driver Wins the International Stars of Karting and Heads to USA

Canberra Kart Racing Club driver, Zane Morse took a comfortable victory in the elite Junior KF3 competition at last weekends Stars of Karting.  This event is part of the build up to Australia’s V8 Supercar Gold Coast 600, which formerly hosted the Australian round of IndyCart.

The Canberra driver, dominated the invitational meeting, that featured some of the best drivers from all around the world, including World Rotax Final Champion and Lotus F1 Team Junior Driver, American, Juan Manuel Correa, who finished second, well behind Morse.

Canberra Kart Racing Club graduates like Mark Webber, usually head to Europe to develop their career, but Zane has other ambitions.

Morse will now head to Las Vegas to compete in the World’s biggest annual karting event the "Super Nationals". The five day meeting will see over 500 entries taking part on the temporary circuit built in the car park of the Rio Hotel and Casino.
