Looking to launch your new business idea or build on an existing business?

Begin with a firm foundation before you take off. With the Start Up Intensive Program, offered by Central Wyoming College and Silicon Couloir, participants are provided with the proven tools, frameworks and skills that winning companies utilize to launch successful business ideas.  
This in-depth entrepreneurial training program has graduated 80 participants in the last three years and provides a unique opportunity for anyone starting a new business venture or building on an existing business to create a lasting foundation for success.  
In only 10 weeks you will:
  • Determine key need and benefit of your idea
  • Define your target audience
  • Understand the competitive landscape
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research
  • Identify core competencies and business value proposition
  • Build a detailed financial model and cash flow projections
  • Develop a strategic plan and timeline for implementation
And walk away with:
  • Creative brief/look and feel
  • Elevator pitch
  • Competitive analysis and pricing matrix
  • Marketing strategy
  • Budget and financial overviews
  • Staffing and operational plans
  • Legal and accounting frameworks
  • Convincing investor presentation
  • 2-page corporate overview and power letter
  • Ten follow-on consulting hours with experts
The most recent spring program included a drone company, a social services non-profit, a food delivery network, several media companies, an art gallery, a handyman business, a pet services company and more.  Start Up Intensive Program Director Liza Millet states, “It’s like a condensed MBA program, entirely focused on your business idea and your growth as a CEO.”
October 11, 2016 through December 15, 2016. 12-14 participants. 3 days per week.
The class ends with participants presenting their businesses to a panel of experienced advisors.  Once the class time program concludes, participants are given ten hours of follow up consulting time with a panel of experts to use as they move forward.

Sandy Schultz Hessler, who teaches the program, brings a wealth of business and teaching experience to the front of the classroom.  She has taught at Harvard, Tufts University and U. Miami Ohio and has been a successful entrepreneur and marketing professional.  
 Enrollment is limited.  Applications are welcome and encouraged from any location.  Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify.  18 college credits are available from CWC.
