The Dining Experience at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts introduces new meal combinations served in the iconic Marquee Box

Executive Chef Philippe Lechevin introduces hot meal combinations to menu at Kansas City’s most unique dining venue inside the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 18, 2016) – Shortly after celebrating its one year anniversary, The Dining Experience located within the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts announced the addition of hot menu items to its dinner menu to be served in the iconic Marquee Box. Handcrafted in Kansas City and sharing the distinctive silhouette of the Kauffman Center, the ceramic Dining Experience Marquee Boxes are one of the most unique dining vessels in city. Previously, all items served in the Marquee Box were presented chilled.

All dinner entrée items include bread service, a choice of a non-alcoholic beverage and a trio of desserts.  Entrée items start at $25.



Seared Cedar River Farms Angus beef tenderloin medallions served over a creamy polenta cake with a

Balsamic demi glaze and marinated cremini mushrooms. Roasted root vegetables consisting of beets, turnips, squash, and parsnips served with a garlic thyme aioli.

Arugula and herb mixed salad with cucumbers, carrots, and marinated olives with a red wine vinaigrette.


Pan Seared Seabass served over a white bean and herb ragú and orange ginger braised fennel.

Sautéed Haricot verts and peas with garlic, lemon and mint. Mixed green salad with grapes, celeriac root, celery, walnuts and apple chips with a ponzu vinaigrette.

The Dining Experience at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts offers guests gourmet meals freshly prepared by Executive Chef Philippe Lechevin and served in the comfortable and sophisticated Founders’ Lounge. Located just within the south doors of the Kauffman Center, the Founders’ Lounge offers guests a sweeping view of Kansas City in a sleek and sophisticated atmosphere.
