Sineann Wines’ winemaker hosts 5-course dinner at Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar on April 30

Dinner features combined talents of Executive Chef Sheila Lucero and Sineann Wines Winemaker Peter Rosback

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 16, 2015) – Peter Rosback, winemaker and proprietor of Sineann Wines, and Executive Chef Sheila Lucero combine their talents to bring a five-course dinner paired with Sineann wines to Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar on Thursday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. The dinner will feature a variety of Sineann Wines, including a 2013 Pinot Gris and 2012 Columbia Gorge Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as dishes crafted by Lucero specifically for the event.

Rosback prides himself on Sineann’s Pinot Noir, sourcing fruit from single vineyards in the Willamette Valley and producing some of the most sought after wines from Oregon. A special Pinot Noir is bottled by Rosback himself exclusively for Jax and offered to diners everyday. Bottles of wine signed by Rosback will be available for purchase at the event for a discounted price.


1st Course:

Forbidden Oyster with Indian River grapefruit granite

Paired with 2013 Pinot Gris 

2nd Course:

Chickories with spring squash, Roquefort and bacon

Paired with 2013 Columbia Gorge Gruner Veltliner

3rd Course:

Halibut Livornese, tomato, caper, olive and Heirloom Grits

Paired with 2012 Wyeast Pinot Noir

4th Course:

Chargrilled ribeye with Yukon gold potato and spring onion

Paired with 2012 Columbia Gorge Cabernet Sauvignon

5th Course:

Cherry and stone fruit, salted honey custard, ginger and dulce

Paired with 2013 ‘Sweet Sydney’ Late Harvest Zinfandel
