The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada (The Center) joins forces with the Community Outreach Medical Center (COMC) and Holy Order Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (Sin Sity Sisters) to host the third annual Walk ‘N’ Roll for HIV/AIDS Downtown Las Vegas on Saturday Oct. 11 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The event features both a walk and a bike ride that gives locals a chance to get out, get active and unite in the crusade against HIV/AIDS. During the evening, participants may enjoy a festival outside of The Center featuring food trucks, raffle prizes and more. The fundraiser benefits The Center, Sin Sity Sisters and a range of HIV/AIDS programs at COMC.
Registration is free, and participants are encouraged to make a donation and encourage others to donate as well. For more information or to register for the event, please visit www.walknroll4lv.org.
