A Wyoming Department of Transportation asphalt paving crew is scheduled for Fremont County work beginning today.
All work is dependent upon favorable weather.
The WYDOT hot-mix asphalt patching work is scheduled June 6-12 on U.S. 26/287 about 12 miles west of Dubois; June 16-18 on Wyoming 28 about 15 miles south of Rawlins Junction; June 19 at Rawlins Junction south of Lander; June 23-24 south of Riverton; and June 25-26 near Shoshoni.
The WYDOT paving operation consists of a paving crew, a roller operator and numerous WYDOT trucks hauling the hot asphalt.
“Please obey posted speed limits during the paving operation, and obey flaggers and traffic control for safety’s sake. Drivers should expect short delays,” said WYDOT South District 5 Paving Foreman Kim Kurasz of Dubois. “In work zones, pay attention or pay the price.”
