Primm, Nev. – Stuart Richey has been
promoted to vice president and general manager of Primm Valley Casino Resorts,
effective March 1.
“Stuart’s background and growth with the company, knowledge and experience in the industry will further the growth of Primm Valley in his new role,” said Loren Gill, senior vice president for Affinity Gaming. “His leadership, dedication and innovative ideas make for an exciting future for the resorts.”
Richey has been at Primm Valley for five years, starting with the company as vice president of marketing before being promoted to assistant general manager in 2011.
A 20-year casino executive veteran, Richey has successfully led marketing and operations teams from riverboats to the Las Vegas Strip. Richey has held roles such director of marketing at President Casino in St. Louis and assistant vice president of slot marketing at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. He was instrumental in the opening of the Paris Hotel & Casino before moving on to serve as the vice president of marketing for Stardust Hotel and Casino and then the same position at Stratosphere Hotel and Casino.
Richey obtained a degree in marketing from the University of Oklahoma before beginning his career in the casino industry in 1993 as a financial analyst for Harrah’s Laughlin.
