Spindrift to Launch Revolutionary Ginger Beer at the Summer Fancy Food Show

The originator of fresh squeezed soda reimagines Ginger Beer with fresh pressed ginger and lemon.

Charlestown, MA (June 2014) -- Spindrift®, producer of America’s first line of sodas and seltzers crafted from freshly squeezed fruit, will unveil its new, bold Ginger Beer at booth #4805 at the Fancy Food Show in New York, taking place from June 29th through July 1st.

This revolutionary Ginger Beer, crafted from freshly pressed ginger and freshly squeezed lemon juice, boasts more than 2x the ginger and 13% less sugar than the current category leader. A full 5 pounds of fresh ginger are used to make each case.

“As fans of Ginger Beer, and especially of Ginger Beer based cocktails like the Moscow Mule and Dark & Stormy, we’ve been wanting to launch this product for a long time,” explains Bill Creelman, the company’s founder and CEO. “It took several attempts to get it just right, but we’re thrilled to finally be able to introduce this incredibly fresh take on this popular and classic drink at the Fancy Food Show."

Spindrift Ginger Beer will be available for distribution nationwide beginning on July 15, 2014. Visitors to the Fancy Food Show are invited to stop by booth #4805 to taste the Ginger Beer and the Spindrift Moscow Mule, along with the rest of the brand’s acclaimed fresh sodas and seltzers.
