Chicagoland Houlihan’s new cookie campaign will benefit Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago

Never feel guilty about dessert again when all six Chicagoland Houlihan’s launch Cookies for a Cause on May 23

CHICAGO (JUNE 1, 2016) – This month, all Chicagoland Houlihan’s will launch a new Cookies for a Cause campaign. Beginning May 23, the Algonquin, Geneva, Naperville, Orland Park, Park Ridge, and Wheaton locations will sell homemade cookies at lunch for 50 cents each. 100 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

With more than 174,000 patients and 130 years of dedication, Lurie Children’s has been providing superior pediatric care. The hospital strives to offer their patients the latest and greatest in medical technology, research and family-friendly design while still prioritizing children and their families.

Cookies for a Cause is the latest campaign from Houlihan’s to support community causes and outreach. Currently, many Houlihan’s locations nationwide serve as drop-off stations for wine bottle and sparkling wine corks through a partnership with ReCORK, a company dedicated to recycling and sustainable living. Individually, the Park Ridge Houlihan’s partners with the Crayon Initiative, a company who recycles used crayons to donate back into local schools, hospitals, and art programs.
