Hope Lights the Way

(Teton County, Wyo.) - The American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is an opportunity to celebrate people who have had cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to end cancer.
The Relay For Life of Teton County is scheduled for June 24 at Snow King Ball Park, 100 East Snow King Avenue in Jackson. Everyone is invited to join the event and form a team, or make a contribution. For more information visit

A memorable part of each Relay For Life is the luminaria ceremony. When the sun goes down, luminarias, or candles in paper bags, line the track to honor loved ones who have survived cancer and remember those who passed away from cancer. This ceremony of light symbolizes hope and perseverance as the community works together to end the pain and suffering from cancer.
