Early in the week
Research from a global jobs distributor tells us that Wednesday is the day of the week when job hunters are at their most active and are most responsive to job advertisements and discussing your openings. Key findings of the survey were:
- 17.5% of candidate activity took place on Monday
- 17.8% on Tuesday
- 18.1% on Wednesday,
- 16.8% of candidate activity occurring on Thursday
- 12.3% of candidate activity occurring on Friday.
The peak job engagement time was between 11.00am to 1.00pm and between 4.00pm and 5.00pm, so the advice here is to reach out early in the week for maximum effect.
