South Florida Entrepreneur Launches Celebrity Success Week For Local High School Students

SOUTH FLORIDA ENTREPRENEUR BRINGS CELEBRITY AND EMPOWERMENT TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Miami, Fla., March 28, 2016Celebrity Success Week for Student Entrepreneurs is coming to Miami Dade College North Campus, 11380 NW 27th Ave, Miami, FL 33167, Friday, April 1st, 2016. Founder Quadeera Teart will bring a one-day conference to the college to encourage high school students to unleash the celebrity in them. Students participating will come from American Senior High School, Miami Carol City High School, Miami Norland Senior High School, and Sunshine’s Heart.

Ms. Teart believes that “America runs on business,” so along with the Microsoft Store, Kidz Count, Inc., In the Black Radio, Southern Christian Leadership Conference Miami Chapter, BADAZZ Foundation 501c3 and motivation from the Clinton Global Foundation, the group will teach students how to harness their ideas and spring them into action. When speaking to the conference Ms. Teart said, “we are thrilled to bring this conference to Miami Dade College! I am the woman I am today because of some great teachers who taught me that my ideas matter, I can’t wait to work with participating students in that same spirit.”

The one day conference will include six panel discussions: The Power of An Idea; The Celebrity Success Cypher; How To Make Money From Your Ideas; How Nations Are Changed Through Innovative Ideas; The Idea Pitch; and Viral Ideas and How Your Idea Can Become One. High School students who participate in the panels will receive “Celebrity Swag Bags” and “Celebrity Entrepreneur Tool Kits” which will include t-shirts, entrepreneurial books, articles, and much more.

Celebrity Success Week is focused on the students, exposing them to opportunity, and giving them the tools and platform to make their ideas come alive. During the 2014-2015 academic year, the Clinton Global Initiative aimed to address the high school dropout rate, Ms. Teart’s program is an exciting way to keep students connected to their education. The founder explains why celebrity, “I’m passionate about the children in our community, and I want them to know there is a star in them. Celebrity Success Week will make them feel like that star while keeping them entrenched in school.”
