Pete De La Torre Business Hour Celebrates 100th Show

Radio Personality Pete De La Torre has a favorite phrase, "Making Business Happen." On his business radio show he features many of South Florida's top movers and shakers in various industries. On March 7th, 2014 De La Torre will celebrate his own personal achievement. His daily business radio show The Pete De La Torre Business Hour will reach a major milestone and air its 100th episode.  De La Torre, the Former Director of the Doral Business Council, launched the daily show in October of 2003 on WZAB 880 am The Biz. It's a business venture for De La Torre, who buys time on the station which is supported by sponsors. The 8am drive time program focuses on economic development and business opportunities for South Florida and features local business leaders.  De La Torre also offers his audience motivational tips as well as breaking financial and business news.

De La Torre's 100th episode show is themed "The Business of Sports," and will feature co-host Jose Sotolongo, Executive Director of the Miami-Dade Sports Commission and special guest Matt Morrissey, Director of the American Invitational For Stadium Jumping, Inc

The Pete De La Torre Business Hour has built a loyal following and boasts about 20,000 daily listeners. Some recent highlights include guest Jerry Darnell, the so-called Godfather of Franchising and a segment celebrating Women's Month with Miami Military Veteran Nadia Ascencio, Co-Founder with her husband Juan Aguero of the Patriotic T-Shirt Company T-Blurts. "The insights and topics discussed by our guest, some of them world renowned entrepreneurs & authors, have inspired many of our listeners to pursue their dreams of owning their own business, said De La Torre."
