AUSTIN, Texas (Oct. 10, 2014) – The Austin360 Amphitheater at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) has today been announced as one of the best concert venues in the nation, according to an article published today by USA Today.
This is a significant accomplishment for the Austin360 Amphitheater, putting it in the same bracket as globally recognized, iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York, The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Fenway Park in Boston, all included in USA Today's 10 Best.
USA Today's inclusion of the Austin360 Amphitheater is even more impressive when taking into account the fact that the venue only opened its stage for business in April 2013 when Kenny Chesney performed the inaugural concert. Since then, the 14,000 capacity venue has played host to a variety of acts such as Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Drake vs. Lil Wayne and Funny Or Die's Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival.
"It is an honor to be mentioned along with these iconic American venues" circuit Chairman Bobby Epstein said. "In fact, we studied the greatest design elements of those theaters and tried to incorporate them to create the best experience for both artists and the fans. We are particularly proud that the performers and audience have raved about our theater's acoustics.”
