NEWSBYTE: Volunteers Needed for HELP of Southern Nevada Holiday Programs

Holiday Program Intake

Nov. 13-15, Dec. 4-6, and Dec. 11-13; 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to assist clients with their applications for holiday programs at HELP of Southern Nevada’s main campus to ensure that all areas of the form are completed (1600 E. Flamingo).

HELP of Southern Nevada Thanksgiving Program Distribution

Nov. 24; 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Following the nonprofit’s Thanksgiving food drives and annual 97.1 The Point & 8 News Now’s Turkey-Thon, individuals can help unload and distribute donated turkeys and fixings to families in need (1600 E. Flamingo).

98.5 KLUC’s 16th Annual Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo Toy Drive

Dec. 4 – 15; Overnight

Overnight shifts are available for those looking to assist during the 16th annual 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo Toy Drive (6226 W. Sahara Ave).

Toy Distribution

Dec. 18 – 20; 7:15 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to help distribute toys received from 98.5 KLUC’s 16th Annual Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo Toy Drive to more than 3,000 families in need (1600 E. Flamingo).
