Fort Worth, Texas (January 15, 2015) – 10X, the long-standing manufacturer of quality hunting gear, introduces a new line of performance hunting apparel for the fall 2015 season. Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co’s acquisition of the 10X brand has breathed new life into the heritage-rich brand, with a renewed focus on form and function in all its products. The new Fall 2015 line from 10X will be on display at booth 10125 at the SHOT Show, January 20-23 in Las Vegas.
“Almost 30 years ago, 10X helped to launch both Realtree® and Mossy Oak® as the exclusive apparel licensee,” states Alan Burks, director of marketing at Walls. “With the sourcing, design and distribution resources of Williamson-Dickie, 10X has the opportunity to become a dominant apparel player in the hunting industry.”
The Fall 2015 10X line is designed as a complete layering system and includes performance outerwear, midlayers and baselayers that feature the most popular patterns from both Realtree and MossyOak.
The 10X Silent Storm Rainshell, a cornerstone of the line, boasts an industry-leading waterproof/breathability rating of 30K/25K and is the quietest camo rain jacket on the market. Offered in Realtree Xtra and Mossy Oak Country, the Silent Storm is constructed with a three-layer, four-way stretch fabric that includes a DuPont Cerenol™ dot-matrix membrane. Features also include YKK AquaGuard® zippers, pre-curved articulated sleeves and an athletic fit. The Silent Storm jacket retails for $250 with matching pants for $220.
The insulating mid-layers in the 10X line offer an array of choices to create the ideal layering system. One highlight is the Technical Hoodie, an extremely quiet, wind-proof layer constructed with an anti-microbial, four-way stretch fabric. This half-zip hoodie features a face guard to keep the hunter fully concealed and comfortable in cold weather. The Technical Hoodie is available in men’s and women’s styles for $120.
The next-to-skin 10X Thermostat Baselayers are built for performance and comfort. Constructed with a polyester spandex fabric blend that wicks moisture and dries fast, the Thermostat top and bottom feature an antimicrobial treatment to fight odors and flat seams to prevent chafing. The baselayers are available for $60 each.
