Knoshy Brings American Artisanal Snacks To Foodies Every Month

Subscription Box Service Showcases Small Batch Snacks From Across the USA

Knoshy is a monthly subscription box that features 4 to 6 small batch snacks made by artisans throughout the USA. Each snack is accompanied by the story of the artisan who created it, and perfectly complements the curated snacks in the box.

Owned by husband and wife team, Anne & Seraphim Danckaert, Knoshy is focused on not only providing a platform for American artisans to showcase their products, but also giving back to those less fortunate. For every box sold, Knoshy will donate 1 meal to a hungry child in need.

Each snack is hand selected by Anne Danckaert, who learned the art of cooking in Dieburg, Germany where she was surrounded by a long line of small town bakers, and eventually went on to become a cake decorator for her family’s local bakery in Indiana.

On her selection of items in each box, Anne explains, “Unlike other companies, we feature foods and flavors across the spectrum: sweet and savory, snacks and desserts. We also make sure you can enjoy almost everything in the box without preparation. That’s where we got our unofficial motto, ‘Open Box, Insert Face.’ As soon as you open your box, you can start knoshing on several items that taste great together.”

Knoshy retails for $33 plus shipping, and in addition to a rotating box per month for subscribers, Knoshy also has a number of one-off gift boxes in development such as the Daredevil Box, featuring snacks made of bugs or extremely spicy products, the Ice Cream Social, complete with all the ingredients necessary to host an impromptu ice cream party, and the Hostess Box featuring small batch meats, cheeses, and crackers.

The first round of Knoshy boxes will be shipped May 1st, the deadline to sign up for a May box is April 15th.
