BC3 Education Foundation, Inc. announces Sharon L. Kovac Memorial Bantam Jeep Heritage Scholarship

(Butler, PA) The Butler County Community College Education Foundation, Inc. announces the Sharon L. Kovac Memorial Bantam Jeep Heritage Scholarship for GED graduates planning to attend BC3 starting in the fall 2015 semester. The Sharon L. Kovac Bantam Jeep Heritage Scholarship was made possible through the contributions of Sharon’s family, friends, and the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival Community. The scholarship will further the educational opportunities for BC3 students who have earned their GED.

Sharon loved her 2001 Jeep Wrangler and enjoyed serving as a behind the scenes volunteer for the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival which is celebrated annually in Butler County, Pennsylvania.

According to Sharon’s husband, Wayne, “Butler County Community College is an incredible place to honor the legacy of a wonderful woman. Sharon’s scholarship will provide a quality education, build a solid foundation for the future, and make a positive impact on many students’ lives.”

Sharon was a grandmother, mother, and wife who enjoyed helping others and loved children, especially her grandchildren. She is deeply missed and will never be forgotten. Sharon’s joyful spirit of curiosity and her love of learning will continue to live on through the students supported by the Sharon L. Kovac Bantam Jeep Heritage Scholarship.
