Barrel 31 creates a special prix fixe menu for National Bourbon Month, offered all month in September

Weekly bourbon flight specials will accompany the menu

KANSAS CITY, MO. (Aug. 31, 2015) – In celebration of National Bourbon Month, Barrel 31 and Executive Chef Eric Carter will serve a Southern-inspired prix fixe menu, paired with a weekly bourbon flight special throughout the month of September. The National Bourbon Month prix fixe menu and flight special will be available at lunch and dinner for $30. The flights will also be available for purchase a la carte.

Chef Carter’s National Bourbon Month prix fixe menu includes:

First Course:
Fried Green Tomato – cornmeal crusted tomato, mustard caviar, green goddess dressing 

Second Course:
Sweet Tea Braised Pork Belly – Berkshire pork pimento cheese grits, peas & carrots

Third Course:
Banana Bread Pudding – caramelized banana, whiskey caramel, vanilla ice cream

Each prix fixe menu paired with that week’s featured bourbon flight.
