Philip Houser, PE Joins Alfred Benesch & Company as Director of Quality Management
Chicago, IL – January 2015 – Philip Houser, PE has joined Alfred Benesch & Company (Benesch) as the Director of Quality Management. In this role, he will oversee the implementation of the company’s expanded quality management system.
“As the company continues to grow and expand into new markets and geographic regions, we felt it was important to bring someone like Phil onboard to help ensure Benesch maintains the same level of quality work our clients have come to expect from us”, says John Carrato, President and CEO of Benesch.
Mr. Houser began his career as a water/wastewater and municipal engineer, and later developed a specialty in contract and quality management. He comes to Alfred Benesch & Company, from Farnsworth Group, Inc., where for the last 15 years he served as a Principal and Risk Manager. He also has an extensive history serving ACEC, both locally in Illinois as well as on the national level. For the last 25 years Mr. Houser has been a member of ACEC with leadership positions ranging from committee chairs to his recent election as a Vice Chairman and National Officer to the ACEC National Executive Board.
