2014-2015 Military Friendly ® Employers Survey Now Open
Free Survey Assessment and New Membership Options Help Companies Build Successful Veterans Programs Based on Leading Practices
Pittsburgh (August 25, 2014) -- Victory Media announced the opening of the 2014-2015 Military Friendly® Employers survey today, an online assessment based on more than a decade of research in recruiting and retaining military talent. Interested companies can qualify for rights to use the coveted Military Friendly® trademarked designation through a voluntary and rigorous survey assessment. Both the assessment and rights to the Military Friendly® designation are made available to qualifying companies at no cost.
New for 2015 are Military Friendly® Employers Membership options, developed in response to inquiries from companies seeking better ways to leverage their earned Military Friendly® designation to attract military talent, and to meet new Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) compliance standards. Membership options include solutions to benchmark practices, train staff, attract military candidates, satisfy compliance measures and build efficient veterans’ talent acquisition programs.
Since the inception of the list nearly 12 years ago, an increasing number of Fortune 1000 companies have realized that attracting military talent makes good business sense, and have developed a keen interest in structuring military programs around best practices. “Making the Military Friendly® Employers list has become increasingly advantageous in finding excellent veteran candidates, but also in using our proprietary data to run efficient military recruitment programs through leading practices,” said Sean Collins, Vice President of Victory Media and a nine-year Navy veteran.
The Military Friendly® Employers list is the only resource based on a complimentary and rigorous quantitative assessment, verified by Ernst & Young LLP, which measures companies on criteria created with the assistance of an independent Advisory Board and graded by an automated research suite. A complete description of the ratings Methodology, Advisory Board and full list of our complimentary services is available at MilitaryFriendly.com/FAQ. The designation process includes extensive research and a data-driven survey of large companies nationwide. The pool of companies eligible for our list is approximately 5,000 (based on the minimum requirement of $500 million in annual revenues). Only a small percentage of eligible companies earn the coveted Military Friendly® Employers designation. These elite companies are published annually within G.I. Jobs®, the primary resource for service members and veterans seeking education and employment opportunities, and republished in media outlets nationwide.
The 2014-2015 Military Friendly® Employers survey is open until September 19, 2014. To learn more about participating in the survey, or to discuss membership options, contact Victory Media at VictoryMedia.com/contact or call (412)269-1663 x138.
