Zachary Heck Joins Faruki Ireland & Cox

CINCINNATI Faruki Ireland & Cox P.L.L. (www.ficlaw.com/) is pleased to welcome Zachary Heck as its newest attorney. Previously, Heck served as a summer clerk with FI&C. He also interned with the Honorable Judge Dennis J. Adkins of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.

A graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Heck served as a Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal. As a second year student, Heck earned awards for both oral and brief-writing advocacy as a semi-finalist in IU's Sherman Minton Moot Court Tournament. The following year, he was selected by a panel of students and faculty to serve on the Moot Court Executive Board as author of the Tournament's case materials for the 2014 competition. Heck was one of only four graduating students to receive induction into both the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers, national honor societies recognizing superior excellence in legal academics and trial advocacy, respectively.

Heck graduated maga cum laude from the University of Dayton on a full-tuition academic merit scholarship, and earned a bachelor of arts in Philosophy and English. He is the legal advisor for Centerville High School’s Mock Trial and Moot Court teams.

In his free time, Heck enjoys watching films, traveling and participating in local book clubs. He resides in Centerville.
