Dubois Museum and the National Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center are happy to bring you an event with Bruce Thompson leading the way.
Everyone likes choices, and Torrey Valley shows us that includes wildlife. We’ll explore some of the wildest “restaurants” and “living rooms”, from the sage and grassy meadows surrounding the Conservation Camp, to Torrey Creek and its wetlands, to nearby pine and spruce forests. Bruce Thompson, professional tracker and wildlife expert will lead the hike by sharing the stories behind all the clues we discover along the way. Aimed at ages 8-12, but everyone is welcome. Bring a lunch and plenty of water. You must register in advance.
The adventure will be Thursday, July 21 from 9am to 1pm, beginning and ending at the Dubois Museum. Be sure to register in advance as space is limited. You can register at the Dubois Museum, 909 West Ramshorn, 307-455-2284 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. www.fremontcountymuseums.com
