Cindy Pawlcyn Napa Valley Named Culinary Partner for Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater

(Yountville, Napa Valley, CALIF.) – The Napa Valley’s most innovative performing arts and event destination has added a new, tasty element that will further elevate and complete the experience at the venue. Noted Chef Cindy Pawlcyn will now provide her world-renowned cuisine at performances and events at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater in Yountville.  And, Cindy Pawlcyn Napa Valley will add the Lincoln Theater to their exclusive list of venues utilized for their discerning clientele.

Cindy Pawlcyn Catering & Special Events will serve as the Culinary Partner for the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater, managing the concessions and catering the venue’s events, as announced today by Pawlcyn, Cindy Pawlcyn Napa Valley’s Managing Director Sean Knight and the Performing Arts Center’s Executive Director Michael Madden and General Manager Patricia Moskowite.

“This partnership with Cindy, Sean and their extraordinary team is a very significant strategic growth step for us,” said Madden, “Adding the Cindy Pawlcyn experience to our innovative and diverse programming, instantly transforms us from being just a magnificent theater with great entertainment and education into a world-class wine country destination complete with world-class entertainment, world-class wine and world-class cuisine within one world-class venue.”

The first example of the host of unique experiences now possible at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater is the Valentine's Day Swing Dance Celebration.   Where else can you “swing, jump and jive” to the music of The Martini Brothers Band, imbibe in Napa Valley’s finest still and sparkling wines and enjoy the exquisite cuisine of Chef Cindy Pawlcyn?  A dance floor, another first for the theater, will be installed in the Grand Foyer of the theater for this special evening.

Another prime example of where the Pawlcyn touch will be evident is the inaugural CabFestNV (February 28—March 2), where culinary offerings at the Kickoff Concert (Jeff Bridges & The Abiders), at the VIP-only “Guitars & Cigar” afterparty as well as during the Grand Tastings and selected events throughout the weekend.


“Being a part of the new direction for the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater is very exciting and very gratifying,” Pawlcyn added, “Not only is it a good business opportunity for us, it’s also great for our community and for the performing arts, both of which are passions that Sean and I share.”

Master Chef Cindy Pawlcyn established her distinctive style and her commitment to local, seasonal, sustainable, globally inspired wine country cuisine, gracious service and creating unforgettable occasions in 1983 with the opening of the now-legendary Mustards Grill.  In addition to Mustards, Pawlcyn currently has two other of Napa Valley's most sought-after restaurants (Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen and Cindy Pawlcyn's Wood Grill & Wine Bar), and is getting raves for her most recent endeavor, Cindy’s Waterfront at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (where she also serves as their Culinary Partner and strong advocate for their important Seafood Watch program. Pawlcyn also helped create over a dozen Bay Area restaurants including Fog City Diner, Bix, Roti, Betelnut, Buckeye Roadhouse and St. Helena’s Tra Vigne.
