As the demand for nursing degrees increases, more and more California students are being wait-listed by their own state’s nursing programs or put into a lottery system and forced to defer their career plans for up to several months. The Roseman University ABSN program offers prospective nursing students an opportunity to skip the wait and leverage their past college experience into a nursing career in just 15 months.
The program, located in Henderson, NV, still has available start dates in 2014. The curriculum allows students to engage with faculty and peers in a virtual classroom setting while simultaneously gaining on-site clinical experience at healthcare facilities in Southern Nevada. Upon completion, Roseman University ABSN graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX exam and earn a nursing license in their chosen state of practice. The ABSN program boasts a first-time NCLEX pass rate of 98.8 percent among its graduates.
