Killeen, TX, 2016/ Press Release: Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas organizes youth football leagues in Texas. Boys aged between 7 and 12 years can participate in these leagues.
Playing football helps in lowering the body fat and improving the overall health of children. It also increases the aerobic capacity and enhances the strength as well as flexibility of muscles.
The staff at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas is specially trained to provide a playful environment for kids. They aim at inculcating team spirit and improving self-confidence of kids.
Football leagues organized by Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas
NCAA League: The league is organized for boys aged 7 -8 years weighing 60-100 lbs. It is also available for 9 year old boys who weigh 60-74 lbs.
AFC League: Boys of age9 years, 10 years as well as 11 years weighing 75-120 lbs, 70-110lbs, 75-89 lbs respectively can enroll in AFC league.
NFC League: The club provides NFC league for boys aged between 11 and 12 years weighing 90-140 lbs. 10 year old boys who weigh 111-140 lbs can also participate in this league.
Participants are required to submit a $20 membership fee, a $55 fee sports fee, proof of age and residency for registration. Their age group will be determined by their age as on September 1. It is mandatory for all the participants to attend or live within the KISD school district.
Besides youth football leagues, the club also organizes other kids activities such as basketball, cheerleading, swimming, painting, photography etc.
