Forty couples were treated to special VIP access at four Casper museums Friday night through the Casper Museum Consortium's "Date Night at the Museums." The couples visited the Science Zone, National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, Wyoming Veterans Museum, and the Werner Wildlife Museum via buses. They were treated to heavy hors d'oeuvres by the Flat Iron Grill and special mixed drinks provided by the Horseshoe Bar, including "Jungle Juice," Punji Stake," and the "Dust Off" to name a few. This date night program featured a Caribbean theme that was reflected in the food, drinks, and museums. The Wyoming Veterans Museum presented WWII artifacts from the South Pacific that were not currently on display.
The Date Night program is coordinated by the Casper Museum Consortium to benefit Casper museums and support other programs, such as the popular "Passport to Adventure." This event was made possible through the support of Casper College, Flat Iron Grill, Horseshoe Bar, and the Casper Star Tribune.
