ThinkZILLA PR Group hosted another outstanding night of professional networking and elbow-rubbing that was followed by an award ceremony to benefit the children of incarcerated parents this upcoming holiday season.
(Houston Tx- Sep 27,2014)ThinkZILLA PR and Our Client “Speaker Bruce Johnson” Of The 1000 Men Empowerment Group helped notable members of the media, community, and entertainment business come together on September 24th for a good cause at the elegant Hess Club in Houston Texas .Velma Trayham, who is the CEO of ThinkZILLA, partnered with Bruce Johnson, to create an award ceremony for distinguished members of the media. A portion of the ticket sales from the event, dubbed “The Secret Society Media Awards”, was donated to Mr. Johnson’s group to help the children of incarcerated parents have a Christmas this year.
“I’m so pleased with Wednesday night’s events. We had celebrities show up, tons of diverse media outlets attend, and our sponsors went overboard to help make the event a success.“You can find a professional networking event in Houston any night of the week but Our Secret Society went beyond that concept. We brought people together to not only network, take photos, and receive awards but to give back to the kids in the community.” CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER FOR ALL OF HONOREES, CONTINUE TO DELIVER GREAT NEWS COVERAGE AND LEADERSHIP IN THE MEDIA LANDSCAPE, "Said Velma Trayham."
The highlights of the night included fine amenities provided by sponsors Allan Dave Funeral Home and Twice Media Productions. Chef Deedee with Deelicious Catering provided the dinner for all in attendance; including what many deemed as “crazy good” Red Velvet waffles, along with other savory entree items. KCOH Kids View Talk Show hosts Iyanni & Veronica provided the on-site red carpet media coverage. Iyanni & Veronica conducted interviews and also helped to set the event’s tone.
Francis Page Jr. (Houston Style Magazine), Bob Mackay (Radio), Isiah Carey (Fox 26) , Larry Johnson (KTSU), Mary Kennedy (KRBE) , Brandon Beard (Cumulus Radio), and Amber Neal (Millionaire Matchmaker) all attended and accepted awards. Red carpet highlights included: Carl Thomas & Michael Sterling, Jade Gold of Jade Gold Fitness, Tamala Austin Of Creative Juice Company, and many more. Media coverage included; Rolling Out Magazine, KCOH,GlammHouston.Com, Kontrol Magazine, The Brandon J Show and several other Local bloggers and media outlets.
“We’re only two days into our post-event media roll and have clocked forty-five thousand dollars in media value, Google visibility and impressions,” finished Trayham. “We had some honorees that were unable to attend the event at the last minute. They have sent us acceptance notes, which is wonderful. I’m putting their awards into the mail today, and ThinkZILLA will release acceptance statements, via their pr teams, as they become available.”
