SPI Study Abroad Announces Upcoming Parent-Student Information Meetings

Austin, Texas (January 15, 2014) – SPI Study Abroad is pleased to announce that January 2014 dates have been set for several upcoming parent and student information meetings. These meetings will take place in both the Houston and Austin, TX area, as well as in the D.C. and Philadelphia area.

SPI Study Abroad is a leading program provider of high school language immersion and global leadership programs. The focus of SPI’s information meetings is to provide an interactive and informative environment for parents and their children who are interested in studying abroad. SPI staff will give a short presentation on their programs, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session during which parents and students should feel free to express any and all questions.

When asked about the importance of these upcoming information meetings, SPI Program Director Celeste McCarron stated, “Our information meetings are a wonderful way for parents and students to put a face to a name, and really become well-acquainted with our programs. Before making the decision to study abroad, it’s incredibly helpful to speak to your program providers in person and let them answer your questions. We want anyone who is even remotely interested in studying abroad to feel welcome to come.”
