Mix 94.1’s Mercedes Martinez featured as Mistress of Ceremonies
Las Vegas – The Shriners Hospitals for Children Open invites the women of Las Vegas to ditch their heels and flaunt their favorite pair of flats for the Women’s Day Kick Off Your Heels Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Mercedes Martinez of KMXB-FM, 94.1’s “Mark and Mercedes in the Morning” radio show is set to host the luncheon as the mistress of ceremonies.
The event will feature a highly anticipated presentation by licensed psychologist Dr. Cortney S. Warren. Through her travels at a young age, Warren noticed how cultural and environmental conditions impacted one’s self-image. As a previous University of Las Vegas Nevada professor and with countless body image and eating disorder studies under her belt, Warren created choosehonestly.com where she aims to help the public understand themselves and live more fulfilling lives.
Exciting items will be presented in a silent auction followed by a delicious meal accompanied by the distinct tastes of Robert Mondavi wines atop The Hill, the tournament’s hospitality venue overlooking the 16th, 17th and 18th holes at TPC Summerlin. Sponsors supporting this ladies luncheon are Downtown Summerlin, Wells Fargo, D & R House of Diamonds and New Image Advanced Laser Skin Center.
Tickets for the Kick Off Your Heels Luncheon are $125 per guest, and tables are available for purchase by calling 702.873.1010. Early reservations are encouraged before the event sells out. For more information or to reserve a table, contact Stephanie Maes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
